Role: Research Assistant in Animal Operations supporting early-phase drug safety, efficacy, and toxicity studies through animal husbandry, dosing, sampling, and basic measurements. Responsibilities: perform husbandry, dosing, bleeding, biological sample collection, monitor animal behavior, conduct medical imaging, document findings in LIMS, and ensure animal welfare per AAALAC standards. Requirements: Associateβs degree in veterinary tech or related, or Bachelor's in Animal Science/Biology/Wildlife Studies, or 2+ years in laboratory animal care; 1-2 years of relevant experience. Preferred: prior animal research, experience with lab equipment, AALAS certification (can be obtained). HighValue: laboratory animal research, early development phase studies, safety and toxicity assessments, AAALAC standards, working with small and large animals. WorkSetup: full-time, Monday-Friday, with weekend work as needed; pay rate $22/hr; based in Greenfield, IN.
