Research Assistant- Pathology

Role: Research Assistant in Pathology supporting post-mortem and histology tasks within a biopharma research setting. Responsibilities: train in necropsy and histology techniques, perform euthanasia per USDA regulations, participate in quality control, monitor resources, utilize data and procedure systems, adapt methods to study needs, interpret study protocols, ensure animal welfare, and maintain a safe environment. Requirements: Bachelor's in animal science, biology, chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, or associate's in veterinary technology; 6+ months experience with small/large animal dissection and handling preferred. High-Value: animal necropsy, histology, USDA regulation adherence, research environment, capacity to handle multiple species, and quality assurance. Work setup: based in Madison, WI, with schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:15pm; flexibility for overtime.
