Role Summary

Research Assistant to support compound management operations in Boston, MA. You will perform chemical handling, operate lab equipment, manage data across multiple databases, and assist with intake and validation workflows. The role involves following SOPs, drafting supporting documentation, and presenting findings to stakeholders while collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform chemical handling procedures to fulfil orders in alignment with departmental timelines.
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment, such as liquid handling instruments and analytical balances.
  • Maintain, review, and curate records related to research materials across multiple databases.
  • Support intake and validation workflows ensuring materials meet established acceptance criteria.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and report any deviations or data concerns to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing technical reports, intake logs, and related supporting documentation.
  • Organize and analyse data using Microsoft Excel or similar tools, and present key findings using PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Required: BS or equivalent with scientific discipline and 2+ years of experience.
  • Required: Proficient in operating analytical balances and liquid handling instruments; experience using Tecan and Biomek liquid handling instruments is preferred.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Titian’s Mosaic compound management software platform.
  • Required: Experience working across multiple databases in support of scientific workflows or compliance efforts.
  • Required: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in managing data and documentation.
  • Required: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and with external partners.
  • Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data review, organization, analysis) and PowerPoint for visual communication.
  • Required: Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
  • Required: Analytical mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Required: Commitment to high-quality work and adherence to established data management practices.
