Repair & Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Role: Maintenance Technician supporting biopharma manufacturing operations, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently. Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing electrical and mechanical systems, and managing work orders. The role involves working with blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications, and may include training maintenance staff. It requires coordinating safety procedures and maintaining equipment documentation. Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; 3-5 years' experience in machine repair, electrical, and sheet metal fabrication; intermediate troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred skills include vocational/technical training in repair, electrical, or fabrication, and knowledge of PLCs, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and structural maintenance. High-value biopharma specifics: role supports manufacturing with a focus on equipment reliability within a regulated environment, involving GxP considerations and safety protocols such as OSHA compliance. The position is scheduled for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:30 pm–12 am) with overtime and occasional weekend work, requiring occasional travel by car. Work environment includes indoor manufacturing and outdoor outdoor settings, with exposure to fumes, gases, and noise; constant physical activity is required, including lifting up to 70 pounds and standing for extended periods.
