Schedule:
- 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
- Monitors and performs preventative maintenance to ensure cost-effective maintenance and scheduled maintenance per manufacturers’ specifications.
- Performs repair work on equipment, utilities, and systems as assigned.
- Conducts electrical troubleshooting and PLC troubleshooting, as well as mechanical troubleshooting; determines needed materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Trains maintenance personnel for maximum productivity.
- Maintains equipment manuals, warranties, and tool inventories.
- Reviews work orders to ensure proper documentation.
- Directs mechanics in the use of safety equipment and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School or GED (Required). Vocational/Technical training in machine and equipment repair, electrical, or sheet metal fabrication (Preferred).
- Experience: 3–5 years’ experience in machine and equipment repair, electrical, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Skills: Intermediate ability to troubleshoot/diagnose/repair equipment accurately and quickly; develop effective working relationships; coordinate programs; prepare reports; maintain accurate records; communicate orally and in writing.
- Specialized Knowledge: Maintenance repair/replacement methods and safety precautions; basic electronics, pneumatics, mechanics, hydraulics, and structural maintenance; some PLC knowledge.
- Additional Requirement: Successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
Compensation / Benefits (as stated):
- Base pay: $26.00–$35.00 per hour.
