Responsibilities:
- Serve as global process owner for Reliability of equipment, systems, and processes; partner with Site Reliability engineers to improve uptime and predictability (primarily for manufacturing sites).
- Use GMARS and drive how Reliability discipline interacts with the tool.
- Engage proactively with major capital projects to influence equipment/system selection and ongoing operations.
- Identify and implement systemic improvements to improve cost effectiveness, productivity, and stewardship of Lilly assets globally.
- Consult with sites globally to ensure Reliability resource needs are met.
- Provide ongoing technical support and mentoring to plant engineering groups (including CMOs/Alliances); help create and maintain Engineering Standards and Best Practices.
- Monitor and, when appropriate, influence external standards to support Lilly compliance; leverage external resources to stay current.
- Coach/mentor and develop others in the Reliability discipline.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelorβs in an Engineering field.
- 5+ yearsβ experience in plant engineering, Reliability, or maintenance.
- Hands-on manufacturing/plant experience in a regulated environment with direct application of cGMP.
- Demonstrated leadership with accomplishments influencing broadly.
- Sound engineering fundamentals and physical plant systems expertise.
- Project coordination experience.
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor work authorization/visas.
Additional Preferences:
- GMARS/Maximo experience.
- Procurement process knowledge.
- Proven business acumen; strong problem-solving/analysis using data/metrics; strong PC skills and verbal/written communication.
- Self-starter; able to work with little direction.
Additional Information:
- Domestic (including PR) and some international travel (typically 10β20%).
