Registered Nurse β€” Employee Health Services (Onsite)
Harborside, Massachusetts

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility as needed)

Responsibilities / How You’ll Contribute:
- Protect employee wellbeing through health surveillance examinations, wellness screenings, and episodic care
- Evaluate, treat, and follow up on work-related injuries in partnership with the department nurse case manager
- Coordinate health and wellness activities (examinations, seminars, screenings)
- Maintain detailed knowledge of policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care
- Assess medical conditions and injuries on-site and initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide follow-up care for injuries and illnesses
- Support annual preventive screenings and health surveillance exams as required by OSHA
- Respond to on-site emergencies and provide first aid for job-related and non-work-related conditions
- Educate employees on health behaviors, self-care skills, and treatment options

Collaboration & Referrals
- Collaborate with internal/external physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Provide appropriate physician referrals for personal illness and injuries (considering location and cultural needs)
- Liaison to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), OSHA record keepers, and the department nurse case manager

Wellness & Prevention
- Support wellness programming with the Well-Being Coordinator or Local Ambassador
- Serve as a resource for wellness and chronic disease prevention/management
- Work with the Lilly pharmacist for travel immunizations and flu shot clinics as needed

Compliance & Administration
- Maintain medical records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulations
- Report infectious diseases to local/state agencies as required by law
- Advise on potential industry-related occupational hazards
- Provide administrative support (medical supply ordering and equipment calibrations)

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current State of Massachusetts license as a Registered Professional Nurse (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship/support)

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of nursing experience (corporate environment, ambulatory care, occupational medicine, or emergency room)
- CPR for Healthcare Provider certification
- Prior Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience
- Occupational Health Nurse certification
- Spirometry and Hearing Conservation certifications
- ACLS certification
- Ability to assess and treat according to the Nurse Practice Act
- Customer service/client responsiveness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Comfort working as a sole clinician when needed
