Regional Sales Director - West

Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, train, develop, retain, and coach a diverse team of 8–10 Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS)
- Provide field insights to the strategic and tactical plan
- Execute team priorities and achieve regional sales goals/targets
- Lead region and territory business planning
- Provide feedback to improve sales and marketing strategy
- Monitor regional expense budgets for compliance and optimal resource use
- Partner with Thought Leader Liaisons to develop compliant business objectives with thought leaders and key institutions
- Translate corporate objectives/analytics into measurable action plans for direct reports
- Coach/develop CSSs via consistent field visits, one-to-one discussions, and other communications
- Track, monitor, and report on sales performance and progress
- Evaluate direct reports and provide behavior-based feedback
- Foster collaboration across internal stakeholders
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Travel required ~75–80% work week

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
- 10+ years leading pharmaceutical/biotechnology sales teams (Required)
- Fast-paced, collaborative team environment (Desirable)
- Cardiology and/or rheumatology experience (Strongly preferred)
- Rare disease experience (Strongly preferred)
- Injectables experience (Preferred)
- Specialty pharmacy and HUB dynamics for patient access (Must)
- Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare environment trends (Must)
- Proven record exceeding quantitative/financial and qualitative targets (Required)
- Marketing/Sales Operations or related support experience (Plus)
- Excellent communication skills; ability to translate strategy into execution (Required)
- Understanding of external laws/codes and company policies applicable to healthcare industry (Required)

Compensation:
- Sales Incentive plan; base pay range: $250,000–$270,000 USD
