Role Summary
The Regional Sales Director (Southeast, Neuropsychiatry) leads a sales team focused on patients with Post-Partum Depression (PPD), providing strategic direction to Neuropsychiatry Account Managers to achieve performance objectives. The role involves building a best-in-class sales team targeting healthcare providers in OBGYN, Psychiatry, and Primary Care settings, and ensuring compliant, high-impact promotion of PPD treatments.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire and on-board a launch team of Account Managers who will call on diverse customer types
- Leverage coaching to maximize development of team members and drive top performance
- Flawlessly execute key strategic priorities to achieve goals while upholding organizational values and standards
- Collaborate internally and across the alliance to drive executional excellence, accountability, and sales performance
- Lead the team through complex environments, including affiliations, care pathways, and business relationships that influence PPD treatment
- Cultivate and support the team’s development of strategic customer and stakeholder relationships
- Understand market dynamics, business drivers, and corporate goals to inform regional strategy
- Plan and support development of individuals’ skills for current or future responsibilities
- Build a culture of compliance to ensure all promotional activities meet company policies, laws, regulations, and industry standards
Qualifications
- Required: BS/BA; 5+ years of sales management or relevant leadership experience
- Preferred: MBA
- Preferred: Psychiatry and/or OBGYN specialty sales experience or knowledge of depression markets
- Required: Proven track record of consistent high performance
- Required: Launch experience leading teams in complex and competitive environments
- Preferred: Experience with Specialty Pharmacy
- Required: Ability to lead and inspire a team to meet/exceed objectives
- Required: Strong leadership, planning, analytics, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Required: Strong strategic planning, analytical and business acumen
- Preferred: Cross-functional experience in other commercial areas
- Required: Significant travel; must live within the region
- Required: Driving is essential; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record per policy

- MBA preferred
