This role is field-based; territory covers the southeast region. Candidates should live within a reasonable distance from the primary city.

Responsibilities:
- Direct sales strategy and planning for field-based team by driving short-term sales targets and long-term goals.
- Position AbbVie as a market leader and solution-provider across the stakeholder base.
- Exhibit deep market knowledge across sector, geography, franchise(s), including Key Managed Care and Payer dynamics; provide quantitative and qualitative business analysis.
- Drive high growth; determine franchise strategic next steps and deliver financial results (top-line and relevant bottom-line).
- Ensure strategy and planning consider external market, segment, and internal enterprise factors.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance across the business (direct franchise, cross-functional, other field teams, multiple franchises).
- Develop top talent through development and exposure opportunities.
- Model “One-AbbVie” and AbbVie Ways of Working behaviors.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of people leadership (preferably sales leadership).
- Commercial pharmaceutical experience (physician/account-based selling, training, managed health care, marketing).
- Ability to set a vision and strategy.
- Ability to build and inspire individuals/teams.
- Experience with project management.
- Demonstrated ability to network and partner across functional areas.
- Models AbbVie’s Ways of Working.
- Up to 75% travel.
- Drive a personal auto/company vehicle or powered material handling equipment.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements.
- Satisfy all applicable HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities/organizations in the assigned territory (including being in good standing and/or eligible to obtain credentials).
