Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, motivate, and inspire a team of 8β10 Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS)
- Recruit, onboard, train, develop, retain, and coach CSSs
- Compliantly educate Healthcare Providers and staff on recurrent pericarditis and Arcalyst for eligible patients
- Execute customer targeting and account planning across the assigned region
- Provide field insights to inform strategic and tactical plans
- Achieve regional sales goals and targets
- Lead region and territory business planning
- Provide feedback to improve sales and marketing strategy
- Monitor regional expense budgets for compliance and optimal resource use
- Partner with thought leader liaisons to develop compliant professional objectives with key thought leaders and institutions
- Translate corporate objectives/analytics into measurable action plans for direct reports
- Coach and develop CSSs via regular field visits and one-to-one discussions
- Track, monitor, and report sales performance and progress
- Evaluate direct report performance and provide behavior-based feedback
- Foster collaboration across internal stakeholders
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Travel ~75β80% of the work week
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs Degree (Required)
- 10+ years leading pharmaceutical/biotech sales teams
- Strong interest in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred:
- Cardiology and/or rheumatology experience
- Rare disease experience
- Experience with injectables
- Experience with specialty pharmacy and HUB dynamics for patient access
- Experience in Marketing, Sales Operations, or support functions
Required skills/knowledge:
- Knowledge of reimbursement and healthcare environment trends
- Proven track record exceeding quantitative/financial and qualitative targets
- Excellent communication skills (translate strategy into execution)
- Understanding of external laws/codes and company policies applicable to healthcare
Compensation:
- Base pay plus Sales Incentive plan; Sales pay range: $250,000β$270,000 USD
