Regional Sales Director (RSD) β Territory: Dallas, TX; Waco, TX; Tyler, TX
Key Responsibilities
- Lead regional launch planning and execution to ensure market entry and sustained product uptake.
- Translate national brand strategy into regional business plans; drive achievement of sales goals, market share, and KPIs.
- Monitor market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence; adjust strategy in real time using data-driven decisions.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain territory managers; lead/coach a team of ~8β12.
- Maintain strong disease state, clinical, and product knowledge; evaluate performance with regular field contact.
- Build/maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, health systems, IDNs, and strategic accounts; support account access and pull-through.
- Partner cross-functionally (Market Access, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Training, Operations, HR) to support launch readiness; provide field input into planning/messaging.
- Ensure regional activities comply with company policies and industry regulations; manage budgets, forecasting, CRM, and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
- 3+ years people leadership in district/regional manager role.
- Proven specialty sales success and prior launch experience (first-launch/startup biotech strongly preferred).
- Strong recruiting/development success; business planning/analytical/coaching skills.
- Strong preference: cardiovascular, nephrology, or hypertension-related specialty experience.
- Willingness to travel extensively within region (up to 60%, often overnight).

US Salary Range: $180,000 β $215,000
