Regional Patient Access Manager (RPAM)

Responsibilities:
- Provide field access support and education to HCPs to maximize patient access and accelerate time to treatment.
- Support specialty pharmacies, closed-door pharmacies (incl. Genoa), and HUB partners (patient-physician services).
- Support coverage for on-label prescriptions already in process: educate on payer coverage, access processes/forms, and patient financial support programs.
- Serve as subject matter expert on regional/national payer coverage policies and processes.
- Train HCPs on payer-specific coverage, documentation requirements, and appeals; support copay/patient assistance programs.
- Implement and support electronic patient access submissions (e.g., CoverMyMeds), including PA, letters of medical necessity, appeals, step edits, and formulary exception requests; resolve cases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with field sales, market access, commercial analytics/operations, and payer marketing; communicate payer issues and access opportunities/challenges.
- Maintain pharmacy distribution network integrity via vetting/monitoring in assigned geography.
- Conduct Patient Access workshops during POA meetings; assist with new-hire training as needed.

Requirements:
- BS/BA + 6+ years pharma/biotech commercial (2+ years specialty pharmacy/market access) OR Master’s/MBA preferred + 4+ years OR PharmD/PhD + 2+ years.
- CNS specialty product experience preferred; strong knowledge of specialty pharmacies, managed care, PBMs, government payers; patient support programs; prescription adjudication; prior authorization and payer criteria.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to travel overnight up to 60%; geographically dispersed across the US.

Benefits/Comp:
- Base salary $151,000–$206,000; annual bonus target 30%; eligible for equity long-term incentive; retirement match; paid vacation/holidays/personal days; caregiver/parental and medical leave; medical/prescription/dental/vision.
