Role: Regional Operations Director (ROD) leading AstraZeneca's cell therapy clinical and commercial site activation and operations across multiple territories in the Northwest US. Objectives include operationalizing AZ's cell therapy trials and products, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities: oversee a team of Associate Directors managing regional site infrastructure, develop strategic operational plans, foster relationships with healthcare providers and site partners, contribute to SOPs, and lead process improvements. Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Medical, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT to support site readiness and patient care. Lead change management and regional market analysis to optimize site activation and lifecycle management, report regional performance to senior leadership, and ensure adherence to policies. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, IT, Life Sciences, or equivalent; 8+ years in cell therapy operations or healthcare/pharmaceutical environments, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Skills in strategy development, change management, problem resolution, and stakeholder engagement are essential. Preferred: understanding of healthcare customer environments, hospital regulations, complex IT systems, and regulated quality environments. Work setup: remote, with up to 50% domestic and international travel.
