Role Summary

Regional Nurse Specialist (Boston/New York) with responsibilities to support prescribers, nurses and allied healthcare professionals on UT products, including indications, dosing, adverse effect management, and patient follow-up. Focus on enabling safe initiation of therapy and referral processes within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resources and education to prescribers, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals regarding UT product indications, dosing, and adverse effect management.
  • Offer practical guidance on product administration techniques and patient follow-up based on good clinical practice.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support new patient therapeutic initiation and referrals.
  • Ensure prescribers have tools and education necessary to start patients on UT products safely.

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Required: 5+ years of experience in cardiology or pulmonology and/or relevant nurse educator experience
  • Required: Strong teaching and presentation skills
  • Required: Ability to work as part of a larger team
  • Required: Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Required: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Required: Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Required: Driver License, valid in-state
  • Required: Ability to travel a minimum of 80%, including overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ PAH Coordinator or PAH Clinical Practice experience
  • RN - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure (active in at least one state, multi-state preferred)
  • Project management skills
  • Multi-Lingual

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Additional Requirements

  • Must reside within the assigned territory (ME, VT, CT, MA, RI, NH and Upstate NY).
