Role: The Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) is a senior scientific expert in Urology, responsible for engaging with external medical and scientific leaders to facilitate scientific exchange, support clinical research, and gather insights. Responsibilities include building relationships with Urology Scientific Leaders (SLs), conducting peer-to-peer scientific discussions, providing non-promotional scientific information, supporting company-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials, and representing the company at scientific congresses. The RMSD also addresses scientific questions, aids in understanding clinical trial barriers, and ensures alignment with research strategies. Qualifications: PhD, PharmD, DNP, or MD with at least 3 years of clinical or research experience in Oncology or Urology. Must have prior field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience, strong scientific communication skills, and a thorough understanding of regulatory guidelines such as FDA, HIPAA, and OIG. Preferred skills include existing Urology SL relationships and experience in genitourinary cancers. High-value biopharma specifics involve Urology, Oncology, Phase II-IV clinical trials, and investigator-sponsored research. The role requires up to 50% overnight travel, is remote-based within TN, AL, NC, SC, GA, FL, and involves collaboration with global clinical and scientific teams.
