Role: The Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) is a scientific expert in Urology or Oncology responsible for engaging with external medical and scientific leaders to facilitate scientific exchange, support clinical research, and provide insights into therapeutic areas of interest. Core responsibilities include developing relationships with Urology Scientific Leaders (SLs), conducting peer-to-peer scientific discussions, addressing scientific queries, and supporting scientific congress activities. The RMSD also liaises between the scientific community and the company to enhance understanding of clinical trials and investigator-sponsored research, while identifying barriers and investigator opportunities for Phase II-IV clinical studies. The role involves gathering scientific insights, supporting educational initiatives, and serving as a role model for field medical teams. Qualifications include a PhD, PharmD, DNP, or MD, with at least 3 years of clinical or research experience in Oncology or Urology, and prior field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience. Preferred skills include established relationships within Urology SLs, therapeutic expertise in genitourinary cancers, and Urology MSL experience. The position requires up to 50% overnight travel, is remote-based serving the WI, IL, IN, MI, OH territories, and demands strong scientific, regulatory, and communication skills, along with market and business knowledge.
