Role: Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory - COPD, focused on scientific exchange, research, and congress support within the Chicago region. Objectives include engaging with Scientific Leaders (SLs), providing factual scientific information, facilitating investigator-sponsored research, and supporting clinical trial site selection and study milestones. Responsibilities encompass developing professional relationships, conducting peer-to-peer scientific discussions, guiding research initiatives, and gathering medical insights, all aligned with GMSA strategies and compliance standards. Qualifications: PhD, PharmD, DNP, MD, or equivalent; minimum 3 years of relevant COPD/Respiratory therapeutic experience; strong stakeholder management, communication, and scientific discussion skills; knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA regulations. Preferred: additional field-based medical experience, research publications, and proven COPD expertise. The role involves up to 50% travel within the territory, remote work setup, and is designated for candidates residing in IL, WI, IA, MN, or SD.
