Role: Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Respiratory-COPD, focusing on scientific exchange, research, and clinical insights within the Chicago (IL, WI, IA, MN, SD) region. Objectives: facilitate scientific dialogue with Key Scientific Leaders, support investigator-sponsored research, and contribute to company scientific understanding of COPD and respiratory therapeutics. Responsibilities include developing relationships with SLs, addressing scientific questions, guiding research collaborations, supporting scientific congress activities, and gathering insights to inform company strategies. Requirements: PhD, PharmD, DNP, MD, or equivalent healthcare degree; at least 3 years of relevant COPD/respiratory experience; strong stakeholder management, communication, and scientific expertise; knowledge of FDA, HIPAA, OIG regulations; proficiency with virtual tools. Preferred: additional field-based medical or research experience, demonstrated publication record. High-value specifics: COPD/Respiratory therapeutic area, clinical research support for Phase II-IV, investigator engagement, and scientific exchange. Location: remote with up to 50% travel within the territory. The role emphasizes scientific excellence, ethical compliance, and inclusive behavior in line with global medical affairs standards.
