Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide the Field Medical team (MSL Managers) to implement Field Medical excellence in the assigned region/medical unit.
- Drive Field Medical Intelligence and insights to enable cross-functional engagement strategy development and execution.
- Ensure Field Medical launch excellence and related launch activities.
- Build regional/CPO Field Medical capabilities (onboarding, soft-skill development, coaching).
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver MSL and MSL Manager training (with Global FME and Global Medical Affairs Franchise teams) and support individual development plans.
- Adapt and leverage therapeutic medical resources for external use by MSLs.
- Maintain deployment maps, align on standardized FME/CPO KPIs, track and report deployment/KPIs/insights to regional/country and global medical leadership.
- Coach and develop direct reports; ensure compliant reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, and special cases within 24 hours; oversee distribution of marketing samples where applicable.

Essential Requirements:
- Graduate degree in science/healthcare required; doctoral preferred (MD, PhD, DNP, PharmD, etc.).
- 7+ years Field Medical (preferred) OR 8+ years medical affairs/clinical research or related scientific/clinical experience (required).
- Strong clinical knowledge (pharmacotherapy, guidelines, research processes, medical expert engagement) and FDA promotional/regulatory/ethical guidelines.
- Demonstrated enterprise/organizational impact in a matrix environment; lead others collaboratively.
- Ability to perform duties per applicable law, regulations, and company policies; comply with Ethics/Compliance/Promotional policies; promote diverse/inclusive, discrimination-free environment.
- Reside within territory or within ~50 miles of border; field-based customer-facing role with ~60–70% travel; valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Prior experience in Cardiovascular & Metabolic (CVM) or related therapeutic area.
