Regional Director, Field Medical Affairs - East

Role: Strategic Regional Director, Field Medical Affairs, overseeing a team of 6 MSLs in the East region, with a focus on advancing ophthalmology/eyecare scientific engagement and medical strategy. Responsibilities: lead, mentor, and develop the MSL team; develop and execute regional medical plans; serve as disease state and product expert; manage KOL and ECP relationships; oversee scientific exchange activities; ensure compliance with GxP, HIPAA, and other regulations; and collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and medical operations teams. Requirements: advanced degree (OD, PhD, PharmD, MD), 10+ years in Medical Affairs or scientific roles, including 5+ years in leadership; in-depth ophthalmology/eye care knowledge; proven KOL relationship skills; experience managing field medical teams within biopharma; and strong leadership capabilities aligned with organizational values.
