Regional Business Manager (Gastroenterology Rare Disease Sales Team) – San Francisco/Sacramento territory (California–Virtual)

Responsibilities/Objectives
- Implement the marketing plan; communicate brand value and use only approved/on-label materials to meet sales/patient goals monthly/quarterly/yearly.
- Provide truthful, non-misleading disease/product/formulary information in compliance with applicable laws and policies.
- Execute territory strategy to maximize sales within the assigned customer population (HCPs, specialty practices, hospitals/clinics).
- Analyze local/regional business and managed-market trends to build short- and long-term goals.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment (Patient Services, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies, Managed Markets).
- Build compliant partnerships internally; seek clarification from management/Compliance & Legal when uncertain.
- Meet targeted HCPs/staff regularly; use consultative selling for Short Bowel and/or Ulcerative Colitis.
- Manage territory speaker program budget; share best practices; use CRM to document calls and account profiles.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Strong influencing/presentation/written communication; ability to discuss therapeutic strategies.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography; adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred: Local marketing execution; managed care knowledge; specialty injectable/infusion pharmacy experience; Gastroenterology/orphan drug expertise; analysis of complex technical data.

Training/License/Travel
- Complete mandatory product training (written/oral exams); hold valid US driver’s license with clean record.
