How you will contribute:
- Achieve sales quotas through driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information, and educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points within the office and how each individual affects diagnosis, treatment, and the Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on healthcare professionals (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care and Neurologists) and educate/inform HCPs on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP.
- Analyze local and regional business/managed markets trends to build long- and short-term goals that lead to a successful business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and pull-through opportunities by geography.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment encompassing Patient Services, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies, and Managed Markets, including handling confidential patient information in accordance with Takeda practices and policies.
- Follow patient-centric decision-making aligned to PTRB (Patient, Trust, Reputation, Business).

Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years of successful selling experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; OR 2+ years of successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence multiple decision makers in key accounts.
- Strong business acumen and strategic planning; demonstrated territory planning and account management/prioritization.
- Ability to interpret analytical data to create sales strategies.
- Strong collaborative skills in a cross-functional matrix.
- Understanding of payer access and reimbursement at territory, regional, and state levels.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and customer needs.
- Demonstrated learning agility to develop and apply clinical expertise and selling skills.
- Reside within the territory or supported geography.

Preferred requirements:
- 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably in rare disease.
- Experience coordinating patient access and market access for pharmaceutical/biologic products.
- Relevant clinical/industry experience; consultative/needs-based selling skills.
- Experience in a highly regulated marketplace.
- Ability to leverage emerging technologies/digital tools and AI-enabled processes.

Licenses/certifications:
- Valid Driver’s License.

Travel requirements:
- Ability to drive and/or fly to accounts and occasional business meetings.
- Overnight travel up to 25–50% may be required.

Training requirements:
- Employment contingent on passing mandatory product training (written and oral exams).
- During training: classified as non-exempt; eligible for overtime only during training per applicable law; not eligible for sales incentives/production bonuses.
- Training includes live instruction, independent study, role play, and other activities (up to 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week).
- After passing exams: transitioned to exempt status; bi-weekly pay and eligible for sales incentive programs/contests.

Compensation and benefits (as stated):
- U.S. base salary range: $180,000.00–$247,500.00.
- May be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
