Regional Business Leader (IBD) – Specialty Sales

Responsibilities / How you will contribute:
- Plan and implement regional sales plans and coaching; build and lead the regional sales team.
- Provide support and coaching to Specialty Sales Representatives and Specialty Account Managers.
- Establish and manage relationships with key customers, professionals, and internal stakeholders.
- Manage regional sales business operations (e.g., policies/procedures, budgets, sales and account data).
- Develop and implement market-based business strategies to achieve sales objectives and maximize opportunities; create business plans using data/account/market analysis.
- Evaluate business opportunities and recommend solutions to regional leadership and the regional sales team.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members; align performance and foster a learning environment.
- Implement sales and marketing programs to support U.S. growth in the assigned district.
- Maintain full compliance with state and federal regulations for selling activities.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing to develop and evolve the marketing plan.
- Build productive relationships with local/regional/national KOLs within assigned therapeutic areas.
- Serve as liaison with internal business partners and collaborate with Regional/National Account Managers on managed market initiatives.

Required qualifications/skills:
- BS/BA; 5+ years management-level experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical devices.
- 3+ years people leadership OR account management OR brand management experience.
- Demonstrated strategic planning, coaching/delegation/motivation, complex data analysis, and communication skills.
- Strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
- Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography.

Preferred:
- MBA/Master’s; injectable/infusible product experience.
- Account-based sales (hospital/health system/infusion/large group practice) experience.
- Immunology and Gastroenterology experience; biological product launch experience.

Travel:
- Drive/fly to meetings; overnight travel; 50–75% travel.
