Responsibilities:
- Recruit, develop, retain, mentor, and lead a diverse sales team; establish KPI accountability and supervise performance.
- Model leadership by setting shared vision, clear expectations, accountability, and process improvement.
- Develop and execute a customer-centric business plan with customer engagement and cross-functional partners.
- Implement sales and marketing programs to support U.S. growth in the assigned district.
- Build and execute market-based strategies using data/account/market analysis to achieve sales objectives and maximize product opportunities.
- Proactively evaluate opportunities and recommend solutions to business challenges to RSD and district sales.
- Ensure full compliance of selling activities with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing to develop/evolve marketing plans.
- Establish relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and serve as a liaison with internal partners.
- Work with Regional and National Account Managers and Manage Markets partners on managed-market issues and access objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- BS/BA; 5+ years management experience in pharma/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical device (e.g., district/specialty account/marketing/product)
- Prior pharma sales representative experience with proven selling success
- Strategic planning, data analysis, coaching/delegation/motivation, strong verbal/written/presentation skills
- MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Comfort with emerging technologies; adapt to digital tools and AI-enabled processes
- Reside in/near assigned geography
Preferred:
- MBA/masterβs; people leadership; relationships with medical dermatologists
- Account-based sales experience; Immunology/Dermatology or Gastroenterology experience
- Product launch experience
