About the Role
- Serve as Regional Business Leader for Dermatology; mentor team through regular face-to-face in-field interactions to work cross-functionally with Healthcare Providers and Key Accounts to identify shared priorities, deliver clinical value, and provide Takeda resource messaging in a patient-centered approach.
- Take ownership of company priorities to maximize sales results; support new product launch success by hiring, leading, and developing a team of representatives.

- Evaluate opportunities and provide recommendations/solutions to business challenges.
- Implement sales and marketing programs supporting U.S. growth in assigned district.
- Ensure full compliance of all selling activities with State and Federal regulations.
- Provide strategic input to Marketing to develop/evolve the marketing plan.
- Build relationships with key local/regional/national Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Liaise with internal partners and coordinate with Regional/National Account Managers to address managed market issues.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
Required
- Bachelorโs degree (BS/BA)
- 5+ years of management experience in pharmaceutical/immunology/biologic-biotech/medical device industries (e.g., district, specialty account, marketing, and/or product management)
- Recent dermatology experience and established relationships with medical dermatologists
- Prior pharmaceutical sales representative experience with proven selling success
- Demonstrated business/strategic planning skills; adaptability to market changes
- Ability to coach, delegate, motivate, and provide timely feedback
- Ability to analyze complex data to develop strategic/actionable plans
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
- Comfort with emerging technologies; adaptability to digital tools; openness to AI-enabled processes
- Reside in or near assigned geography
Preferred
- MBA or Masterโs Degree; people leadership experience
- Established relationships with medical dermatologists
- Account-based sales experience (e.g., hospitals/health systems/large group practices)
- Experience in Immunology/Dermatology or Gastroenterology
- Product launch experience
Travel Requirements
- 50โ75% travel, including overnights; ability to drive/fly to meetings and client sites
Benefits (from job description)
- U.S. base salary range: $176,000โ$242,000
