Regional Business Director (RBD)- South

Role: Regional Business Director (RBD) responsible for leading the commercial strategy and team building for Belite Bio's first-in-class retinal disease therapy targeting rare inherited eye conditions. Responsibilities: recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Territory Business Managers; translate national brand strategy into regional business plans; co-travel extensively (50-60%) with field reps to coach on clinical and market engagement; collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical, market access, and compliance teams; manage regional budget and resources; monitor market indicators and report insights; ensure regulatory and ethical compliance; represent the company at industry events. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred); 8+ years in pharma/biotech sales with 5+ years in first-line leadership; ophthalmology, retina, or rare disease experience strongly preferred; success in product launches and team development in small or pre-commercial settings; deep understanding of payer/reimbursement landscape; ability to travel extensively and reside near a major airport.
