Role Summary

Regional Business Director, Immunology (A) to support the United States. The position is a field-based role with a national scope. Lead, develop, and directly manage a team of District Managers and Dermatology Sales Specialists across Janssen Biotech’s Dermatology accounts while interfacing with cross-disciplinary stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for leading their team to maximize sales opportunities; prioritize opportunities and aid the team in securing and applying resources to maximize results.
  • Develop and execute an aligned business plan to deliver compliant product sales growth and volume objectives, addressing customer and marketplace needs.
  • Collaborate with internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access and establish relationships and networks to facilitate positive business interactions.
  • Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team skilled in the Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, and account management; coach District Managers and Sales Specialists on business competencies and leadership imperatives.
  • Coach others to convince internal and external stakeholders to build mutual alignment and achieve customer-centric outcomes, in accordance with the J&J Credo and HCC guidelines.
  • Set overall account goals and objectives; oversee account metrics and business performance.

Qualifications

  • Required: Seven (7) years of related experience with at least five (5) years in cross-functional commercial roles (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Access/Payer, Analytics or Business Development)
  • Required: Prior direct people management / leadership experience
  • Required: Ability to lead, develop, coach and engage high performing, diverse teams
  • Required: Demonstrated commercial capabilities and success in prior commercial roles
  • Required: Valid US Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Live within regional geography
  • Cross-functional experience beyond Sales and Sales Learning & Development
  • Healthcare or related experience, including pharmaceuticals
  • Prior experience in sales as either a professional sales representative and/or District Manager
  • Direct experience in in-line Marketing and/or Strategic Marketing/Marketing Access
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience in Immunology
