Regional Accounts Associate Director, Neuromuscular – Southern California

Role: Regional Accounts Associate Director (RAAD), Neuromuscular, a hybrid field-based position supporting key accounts in neuromuscular rare diseases. Objectives include building strong provider partnerships, driving demand, and facilitating clinical and reimbursement support throughout the patient treatment journey. Responsibilities: manage account relationships, educate stakeholders on clinical data, support product access, and navigate payer policies; collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Medical, Patient Services, and Distribution teams to ensure seamless therapy delivery and address access barriers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree; 8+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors with experience in specialty or biologic therapies, payer landscape, and large account management; familiarity with specialty pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and the US healthcare ecosystem within 5 years; proven success in supporting product launches or indication expansions, with strong communication and strategic skills. Preferred: 3+ years in rare disease or specialty biopharma commercialization, experience in neuromuscular markets, and cross-functional leadership. High-Value: focus on neuromuscular rare diseases, specialty therapies, patient access and reimbursement strategies, and a need for extensive travel (60-80%). Location: territory-based with travel; must reside within or near the geographic area. This role involves significant field interaction, stakeholder education, and operational support within the US healthcare environment.
