Regional Account Manager, US HPP, Syracuse NY (Territory) Location: Field This is what you will do: Professionally represent Alexion in educating HPP disease customers and identifying patients impacted by HPP and ensure high levels of visibility to Alexionâs disease awareness initiatives and a high degree of customer satisfaction in territory. Implement sales/marketing disease, diagnostic and branded programs. Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers. You will be responsible for: Consistently achieving or exceeding sales objectives in assigned territory Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of the product, market, and customers Developing and implementing strategically targeted account-specific territory business plans in line with corporate strategy that reflect an in-depth understanding of local market forces impacting product sales. Managing territory, analyzing the market dynamics to ensure territory sales goals are met, and updating business plans to reflect knowledge. Developing and maintaining strong in-depth clinical, technical, and scientific knowledge Seeking out and qualifying leads and profile new accounts Educating on the diagnostic approach to the disease leading to a successful differential diagnosis and appropriate testing of patient populations Appropriately utilizing marketing tools and resources including power point presentations Leading the implementation of our patient-centric partnership model in assigned territory which will include physicians, their staff, , clinics, and hospitals and provide high level product expertise and customer service to all accounts Making compelling and persuasive sales calls to designated customers resulting in sales of Alexion products. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including: TLL(s), SAL(s), MSL(s), FRM(s), Market Access, Diagnostics, and other respective Enterprise partners Proactively interacting with Alexion management to refine product and market initiatives Effectively and efficiently managing time, priorities, CRM tool, resources, and workload Managing administrative responsibilities, submit reports on sales activities accurately and on-time Performing work in alignment with and adheres to all Alexionâs Code of Ethics and Business Conduct and Alexion policies and procedures. You will need to have: Bachelor's Degree Proven, documented track record for delivering consistent âTop-tierâ sales results demonstrate a consistent track record of success (Top 20% performance). Minimum 5+ years Pharmaceutical or Equivalent Experience (e.g. Biotech or Medical Device) Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, on a consistent basis Ability to gain consistent access & develop strong, professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers in community and academic centers Demonstrated strategic territory management successes Effective verbal and written communication skills and organizational abilities Valid driverâs license and clean driving Ability to travel (minimum 50-60%) within assigned territory on a regular basis which will include frequent overnight and some weekend travel. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles).
