Role Summary

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) for Metabolics will run their own business within a defined geography—including New York, Connecticut, and Northern New Jersey—primarily focusing on CHOLBAM and CTEXLI, with selective promotion of Livmarli. The role emphasizes building regional strategy around Genetics as the core customer, achieving short- and long-term business objectives, expanding diagnosis rates for on-label indications, and partnering across the sales organization to meet goals. The RAM should be an entrepreneurial, detail-oriented leader with strong presentation and relationship management skills, capable of navigating a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.

Responsibilities

  • As Regional Account Manager, act as the regional business owner with a focus on increasing HCP awareness and understanding of promoted Mirum products
  • Identify and establish strong relationships with key thought leaders and customers to engage with HCPs and create advocates
  • Provide an entrepreneurial approach with ownership and accountability to maximize/exceed goals
  • Understand healthcare trends in the Rare Disease community and apply strategies to mitigate account access challenges
  • Use organizational and analytical skills to optimize growth and develop strategic, actionable business plans
  • Uphold Mirum’s culture of compliance, integrity, and transparency
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships across commercial, compliance, and medical affairs functions
  • Drive change through influence and innovation

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive business experience in healthcare or biotech, including 3 years in field-based account management, sales, and field reimbursement
  • Experience working in ambiguous spaces where patient finding may require coordination across specialties
  • Experience working with ICD-10 based leads
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience growing mature brands
  • Proven experience with Hospitals, Academic Institutions, and community settings, calling on intradisciplinary teams
  • Track record of researching and solving complex issues impacting HCPs while mitigating barriers to patient access
  • Proven teamwork and execution success
  • Experience managing a large multi-state geography preferred
  • Track record of operating in accordance with regulations and company policy
  • Brand experience across multispecialty including Genetics
  • High ethical and performance standards with all business contacts

Education

Additional Requirements

  • Approximately 70% travel required, including overnight travel as needed
  • Travel and attendance on evenings and weekends for regional/national meetings, conferences, and advocacy events
