Overview
- Develop and lead the regionโs Cell Therapy Account team (Regional Account Director), reporting to the Vice President of Sales.
- Work with commercial leadership to ensure the successful product launch of Lifileucel by driving demand uptake and sustaining growth.
- Take a hands-on, initiative-driven approach to ensure success.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Direct a high-performing regional team of Cell Therapy Account Managers (CTAMs) to execute the Lifileucel commercial strategy in the region.
- Enable demand by identifying, evaluating, and assisting in qualifying potential Lifileucel Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs).
- Build relationships and trust with ATC key stakeholders.
- Educate ATCs on best practices for products and services.
- Collaborate with regional cross-functional teams (Market Access, Commercial Quality, Marketing, Business Analytics, HR, Legal, and other partners) to ensure efficient customer engagement, including ATC pre-calling, call continuum, and post-call activities.
- Provide training, coaching, and development for the field-based commercial organization, including career development.
- Maintain compliance with corporate policies/procedures and US/global healthcare laws and regulations.
- Adhere to company core values, policies, procedures, and business ethics.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Travel
- Up to 75% travel.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
- 12+ years Oncology/Biotechnology experience; 5+ years leading and managing teams.
- Strong understanding of the community oncology practice landscape.
- Exemplary leadership with a proven track record of achieving goals.
- Excellent coaching, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to hire, lead, and commercially deliver in a complex therapeutic landscape.
- Demonstrated talent retention and career development.
- Ability to lead in both academic hospital and community oncology markets.
- High clinical aptitude in oncology and immunotherapy; operational acumen in academic hospital and community settings.
- Knowledge of regulatory/compliance requirements and oncology reimbursement/policy landscape.
- Experience with strategic planning, problem-solving, and conflict resolution in academic and large community oncology practices.
- Ability to build a patient-centric team culture.
- Demonstrated ability and desire to provide strong customer support across stakeholders.
- BA/BS degree required.
- Valid driverโs license.
