Role Summary
The Receptionist serves as the primary front desk presence at the Dyne office, creating a welcoming, professional experience for employees, visitors, and external partners. Supports daily office operations, administrative activities, and company-wide events, using sound judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential information. Onsite five days per week with periodic travel between Dyne office locations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk and lobby area; welcome and assist employees, visitors, candidates, vendors, and board members.
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and general inquiries.
- Maintain a professional, organized reception area and ensure a positive first impression.
- Support daily office operations, including receiving/sorting/distributing mail and packages (USPS, FedEx, UPS, courier services).
- Manage general correspondence and shared inboxes; scan, copy, file, and distribute documents.
- Track receipts and invoices and submit documentation to Accounting in a timely manner.
- Assist with onboarding logistics for new hires.
- Provide general clerical/administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned.
- Coordinate with building management/facilities/external vendors (maintenance, cleaning, food & beverage).
- Order, receive, stock, and organize office supplies and pantry/kitchen-copy area inventory.
- Support office cleanliness, maintenance, and day-to-day operational readiness.
- Assist with evacuation protocols and emergency drills.
- Maintain conference room calendars; prepare rooms for meetings (catering coordination and guest clearance).
- Provide logistical support for internal meetings, external visitors, and company-wide events.
- Assist with planning/execution of office events and employee engagement activities.

Education & Skills Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a receptionist, administrative, or similar customer-facing role.
- Experience in biotech/life sciences or fast-paced corporate environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills; attention to detail.
- Customer-service mindset with sound judgment and discretion.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work independently, and prioritize tasks.
- Resourceful/proactive problem-solving.
- Ability to work onsite five days per week and travel between office locations; personal vehicle required.

Compensation
- MA Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 USD.
