The Director, Real World Evidence (RWE) leads the development and execution of RWE for the assigned therapeutic area or function area as the principal investigator on real world evidence studies. Serves as scientific leader for research conduct with NNI stakeholders in Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs (CMR), Market Access and Public Affairs; liaison to global counterparts in Epidemiology, Data Science, and Real-World Evidence. Leads the study team, communicates RWE execution to internal/external stakeholders, and manages partner relationships, vendors, and strategic collaborations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage execution of RWE studies internally, with partners, and with vendors
- Utilize NN Real World Data platform, partnership platforms, and analytic tools
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to optimize use of real-world data (RWD) within USO
- Mentor junior staff
- Communicate RWE internally and externally via publications and conferences
- Serve as reviewer for the CDSE Protocol Review Committee
- Act as key subject matter expert in methodological and advanced analytic functions; consult/collaborate to deliver solutions aligned to portfolio strategy

Qualifications:
- PhD preferred or Master’s degree required (epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, health economics)
- 8–10+ years leading development of RWE
- 8–10+ years in key stakeholder engagement roles
- Experience with RWE methodologies and advanced analytics
- Demonstrated research accomplishments (peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations)
- Excellent leadership, communication, critical thinking; strong knowledge of real-world databases
- Strong project and process management; strong triage/judgment
- 8+ years research using real-world data in clinical and business decision-making
- Strong business acumen and team player; strong strategic thinking

Physical requirement: 10–20% overnight travel.

Compensation/Benefits: Base compensation range $225,000–$300,000; eligible for company bonus; long-term incentive and/or company vehicles depending on level; employee benefits including medical/dental/vision, life/disability, 401(k), flexible spending, assistance program, tuition reimbursement, voluntary benefits; time off and parental leave.
