Primary objectives include overseeing global safety surveillance, signal detection, risk management, and benefit-risk assessments across clinical and post-marketing phases. Responsibilities encompass developing safety strategies, ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, ICH regulations, managing safety governance, and supporting regulatory submissions and health authority interactions. The role involves collaboration with clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and safety teams, serving as a key safety representative, mentoring colleagues, and leveraging AI for safety process improvements. Requirements: MD degree with 10+ years in pharmacovigilance or safety science within pharma/biotech, extensive knowledge of global PV regulations, expertise in signal detection, risk management, and experience with regulatory interactions. Preferred qualifications include radiopharmaceutical and oncology safety experience, along with NDA/MAA submission expertise. The role demands strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments. Travel is approximately 25%. The position is based in Princeton, NJ, with a focus on innovative cancer therapies in early to late clinical development stages, particularly radiopharmaceuticals for oncology indications.
