Role Summary
Rare Disease Sales Opportunity - Territory Manager (St. Louis, MO) responsible for IMCIVREE approved indications, providing disease education to targeted physician communities, and driving engagement in a defined geography. The role requires agile, adaptable sales professionals who align with Rhythm's mission and evolving strategy.
Responsibilities
- Execute disease education to target HCPs in alignment with company priorities and direction.
- Develop strong relationships with experts and target specialists in assigned geography, ensuring delivery of clinically focused messages.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on the development of collateral to support customer needs and the teamsβ activities.
- Support marketing driven educational webinars.
- Participate in and help lead initiatives to support disease education such as industry related congresses, local and regional meetings, and medical conferences.
- Ensure accurate capture and reporting of data in the CRM.
- Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and optimize execution to meet yearly objectives.
- Maximize budget allocated to the geographic territory to support execution of strategies and tactics to achieve business goals.
- Accomplish all corporate and administrative responsibilities with high levels of commitment and efficiency, including Healthcare Compliance training, expense reports and other assignments by established deadlines.
Qualifications
- Required: 6+ years of specialty pharmaceutical and/or biotech sales experience
- Preferred: Rare disease experience strongly preferred and launch experience preferred
- Required: Proven track record of consistent performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments
- Required: Ability to have a high command of scientific data and to communicate it effectively to different audiences
- Required: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong productive engagement of customers utilizing active listening
- Required: Self-motivated, highly energetic individual with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Required: Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative and accountable culture to reach common goals
- Required: Strong critical thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Required: Strong organizational and operational skills, with attention to detail and sound business judgment
- Required: Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and enforcement environments
- Required: Ability to travel up to 80% as necessary
