Rare Disease Business Manager – Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP

Responsibilities
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers/hospitals, and retention on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements: sales presentations; provide technical/administrative product information; educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, Neurologists); educate on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP.
- Analyze local/regional/managed-market trends to build business goals and plans.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts in a matrix environment.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
- BS/BA.
- 3+ years selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years selling experience at Takeda.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
- Ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence decision makers.
- Territory planning/account management/prioritization; interpret data for sales strategy.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement (territory/regional/state).
- Reside within territory/supported geography.

Preferred Requirements
- 5+ years pharma sales (preferably rare disease); consultative/needs-based selling; regulated marketplace experience; coordination with patient/market access; familiarity with emerging digital/AI-enabled processes.

Skills & Travel
- Organizational/territory planning; data interpretation; community education (occasional nights/weekends); valid Driver’s License; travel up to 25–50%.
