How you will contribute:
- Achieve sales quotas by driving new patient starts, sales in outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, and retention of patients on Takeda augmentation treatment.
- Conduct customer engagements: deliver sales presentations, provide technical/administrative product information, and educate on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
- Understand influence points affecting diagnosis, treatment, and Rx/referral/order.
- Participate in community education events and conferences for healthcare professionals and patients.
- Focus on HCPs (Allergy/Immunology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, select Internal Medicine/Primary Care, and Neurologists) and educate/inform on Takeda brands for Primary Immune Deficiency and CIDP.
- Analyze local/regional business and managed market trends to build short- and long-term goals and a successful business plan.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Patient Services, Alternate Site Team, Integrated Health Systems, Market Access, and National Accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and pull-through opportunities.
- Work compliantly in a matrix environment and handle confidential patient information per company practices/policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelorβs degree (BS/BA).
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or relevant clinical/industry experience); OR 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda.
- Excellent verbal/written communication.
- Ability to navigate complex selling environments and influence decision makers.
- Strong business acumen, strategic planning, and territory/account management; interpret analytical data.
- Understand payer access and reimbursement (territory/regional/state).
- Adaptability; learning agility; reside within territory/supported geography.
Preferred Requirements:
- 5+ years rare disease pharmaceutical sales.
- Experience coordinating with patient access/market access teams; consultative/needs-based selling.
- Experience in highly regulated marketplaces; leverage digital tools/AI-enabled processes.
Travel Requirements:
- Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel up to 25β50%.
Training Requirements:
- Mandatory product training with written/oral exams; initial non-exempt status with overtime eligibility during training only; post-training transitioned to exempt status and eligible for sales incentives/contests.
