Responsibilities:
- Own all business activities in assigned geography, including achievement of sales goals via brand strategy execution.
- Provide scientific/educational support to target physicians treating lysosomal storage disorders; support early diagnosis and/or treatment.
- Conduct in-depth business planning and execute disease-state/product programs at conferences/exhibits.
- Educate HCPs on disease signs/symptoms, differential diagnosis, and appropriate Takeda treatment options.
- Analyze market data to set opportunities/priorities and integrate/optimize approved sales leads and tactics.
- Collaborate with internal/cross-functional teams to coordinate efforts and enhance business outcomes.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree.
- 3+ years successful pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device selling (or 2+ years Takeda selling experience).
- Demonstrated marketplace acumen; consistent track record of success; territory management success.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary internal/external teams.
- Rare disease experience preferred; complex sales model experience required.
- Understand payer access/reimbursement; experience managing/communicating complex reimbursement issues.
Preferred:
- 5+ years pharma sales (rare disease or sleep disorders preferred).
- Biologics/specialty pharmacy experience; needs-based/consultative selling.
- Experience coordinating with patient access/market access teams; comfort with digital/AI-enabled processes.
