Rare Disease Business Manager (San Francisco/Sacramento territory) – Gastroenterology Rare Disease Sales Team.

Responsibilities/Objectives:
- Implement marketing plan; use only on-label/approved materials to meet monthly/quarterly/yearly sales/patient goals.
- Provide truthful, non-misleading disease/product/formulary info compliant with laws/policies.
- Manage territory to maximize performance across targeted HCPs (physicians, staff, specialists, clinics/hospitals).
- Analyze local/regional managed market trends to build short- and long-term goals.
- Work compliantly in matrix environment (Patient Services, Specialty Infusion Pharmacies, Managed Markets); handle confidential patient info.
- Build internal partnerships for compliant selling approaches; seek Compliance/Legal guidance when uncertain.

Accountabilities:
- Meet regularly with targeted HCPs/staff; use consultative, highly technical selling for Short Bowel and/or Ulcerative Colitis.
- Maximize positive patient impact; manage speaker/budget per compliance.
- Share best practices; participate in meetings; use CRM for account and call documentation.

Qualifications:
- Required: BS/BA; 3+ years successful pharma/biotech/med device selling (or 2+ years at Takeda); ability to discuss therapeutic strategies; develop/apply clinical & business expertise; strong communication; reside within/near geography; adapt to changing needs.
- Preferred: local marketing execution; strategic planning; managed care knowledge; specialty injectable/infusion pharmacy distribution; GI/orphan/highly specialized experience; coordination with patient services; analyze complex technical data.

Skills/Other: Valid driver’s license; US license with clean record.
