Role: Rare Disease Business Manager supporting Alpha-1 therapies in Missouri, Iowa, and Southern Illinois, focusing on sales growth through healthcare professional engagement and patient retention. Responsibilities: achieve sales quotas by promoting Takeda’s Alpha-1 treatments to pulmonologists, allergists, and primary care providers; develop and execute territory-specific strategic plans; conduct educational community events; collaborate with marketing, customer service, and hospital teams; and ensure compliance with promotional policies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of healthcare sales experience, proven success in specialty biologics or biotech products, and knowledge of plasma-derived therapies or rare diseases preferred. High-Value: focus on Alpha-1 deficiency, biologics/injections, outpatient infusion centers and hospitals, with some overnight travel (~50%). Work setup: remote-based within territory, with occasional nights/weekends for community outreach.
