Role Summary

R&D Solution Architect - Data Products. Location: Morristown, NJ. Full Time. The role involves creating and designing state-of-the-art data platforms and technology stacks to support advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives within the R&D team.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solutions to meet business needs within the agreed requirements and align with the architectural direction
• Guarantee and promote the right usage of standards for processes, applications, and infrastructure environments
• Leverage the existing portfolio of digital products and services and promote reuse of building blocks
• Design and produce design documents and solution roadmaps showing states of transition
• Orchestrate the delivery of interconnected technology components through the solution lifecycle
• Collaborate closely with business, technology, and product stakeholders to contextualize the architecture design
• Contribute to standards of lifecycle maintenance

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in solution architecture, AI architecture, and software engineering
• Experience developing Lean & Agile practices, policies, and/or procedures
• Ability to drive proof of concept implementations
• Facilitate design and review sessions to define broad solutions with the big picture in mind

Skills

• Ability to assess new technologies and document architecture decisions (ADRs)
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams to drive alignment and results
• Self-motivated with initiative and strong problem-solving/critical thinking

Education

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field
