Role Summary
The R&D HCP Engagement Center of Excellence (CoE) Manager supports Jazz’s Global Medical Operations and Effectiveness team, driving high-performance conditions, developing and motivating individuals, and modeling Jazz culture and values. The role spans across R&D functions and coordinates with GMSA, External Engagement teams, global and regional stakeholders, and legal/compliance partners to implement and manage the HCP engagement CoE for global meetings, conferences, advisory boards, and steering committees within the specified therapy area.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute on R&D wide HCP engagement activities acting as core team member of the molecule R&D External Engagement Cross Functional Team
- Project Manage assigned key deliverables for the R&D External Engagement Cross Functional Team
- Be the point of contact for R&D Global congresses
- Lead Global HCP Engagement activities on behalf of R&D such as:
- Annual needs assessment for HCP engagement
- Coordination of KOL Engagements activities at Congresses (1:1, advisory boards, etc)
- HCP Coordination for Ad-Boards, Steering Committees
- Ad Board Coordination / Support in collaboration with HCP Engagement CoE Analyst
- Logistics, agendas, presentations etc.
- Liaising with vendors for virtual Ad-Board support
- Act as an advisor to function as an SME in the HCP engagement CoE
- Collaborate closely with Global Medical Teams and CMO/Development Business Owners to coordinate global advisory boards and steering committees through annual medical plans, to identify best practices in overall activities and share with GMA and RMA leadership to drive consistency across regions
- Ensure collaboration and alignment with regional stakeholders such as regional brand teams and congress & events teams
- Develop and maintain Business Continuity Playbooks for areas of accountability
- Contribute to operational process improvements and problem solving
- Any other ad hoc activities as required
Qualifications
- Required: Previous experience either within industry or medical affairs operations and/or logistics and planning
- Required: Experience with tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet, Tableau and TEAMS
- Required: High degree of professionalism, integrity and collaboration
- Required: Project management, ability to plan and tightly manage multiple workstreams while balancing multiple stakeholders; efficient operationally
- Required: Strong communication skills; excellent presentation abilities and credibility
- Required: Ability to navigate challenging situations with diplomacy and tact
- Required: Strong leadership, team building, negotiation and execution abilities

- Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent
