Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists to apply data science, AI, and machine learning techniques to advance drug discovery and development.
• Engage in three eight-month placements across different R&D functions and therapy areas.
• Identify opportunities to apply data-driven approaches to medicine and clinical development.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative science (e.g., Maths, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science) awarded in 2025 or due by September 2026.
• Experience: Hands-on experience in Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or Cheminformatics.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of key machine learning or statistical models; proficiency in Python or other data-centric programming languages for Big Data analysis.
• Attributes: Innovative thinking, enthusiasm, energy, drive, strong critical thinking, planning, organizational and time management skills; ability to work collaboratively.
