R&D Chemist

Role: Entry Level R&D Chemist supporting radiochemical separation process development for nuclear fuel reprocessing and transmutation. Responsibilities: perform experimental activities involving chemical/radiochemical handling, develop test plans and operating procedures, conduct liquid-liquid extraction and ion exchange chromatography of actinides, lanthanides, and fission products; analyze data and document results; operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment. Requirements: B.S. in chemistry or related field; hands-on laboratory experience; ability to independently plan and execute experiments; strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
