Quality Inspector I

Role: MQA Line Inspector responsible for performing quality inspections of finished and contract goods for Bausch + Lomb's eye health products, ensuring compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and regulations. Responsibilities: conduct visual and functional inspections using statistical sampling plans, document results, support quality decisions regarding non-conforming products, assist in investigations of process issues, maintain sample inventories, and provide QA inspection support to manufacturing operations. Requirements: High School Diploma; 2-3 years manufacturing or inspection experience; prior experience with visual and dimensional inspection; proficiency in MS Office and warehouse management systems; strong communication and decision-making skills; ability to work independently. Preferred qualifications include experience with balances and dimensional tools. High-Value: focus on finished goods inspection within biologic or medical device manufacturing, cGMP compliance, cross-functional engagement, and supporting quality assurance in a regulated environment. Work setup: Greenville, SC, schedule Monday-Friday 11am-8pm or 11:30am-7:30pm.
