Quality Engineer*

Role: Advanced Quality Engineer responsible for product quality and quality systems for ceramic components used in aerospace/defense applications. Objectives include leading quality improvement initiatives, implementing quality systems (audits, IQC, Lean Six Sigma, CAPA, root cause analysis), and supporting production and supplier development to meet shipment targets. Responsibilities involve problem solving, continuous improvement, and customer interface. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering, 3+ years in quality or manufacturing, experience in aerospace/defense, ceramics, or related standards (e.g., AS9100), proficiency in statistical analysis, visual inspection, report writing, and MS Office. Preferred skills include experience in ceramic processing, CMM, ISO 14000, and familiarity with defense industry standards. High-value specifics: aerospace/defense, ceramic components, quality systems, supplier development, and process validation. Work setup: on-site in Clarkston, GA, with no travel required.
