Quality Control and Continuous Improvement Specialist I

Role: On-site Quality Control & Continuous Improvement Specialist at Inotiv, focused on ensuring product and process quality across operational sites. Responsibilities include conducting scientific analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished products, performing root cause investigations, supporting process optimization using Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI tools, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as AAALAC, IACUC, USDA, and CDC. The role involves collaboration with QA, Operations, and other teams, supporting audits, and fostering a culture of operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives. Core qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field, with 2+ years of experience in QC or operations, familiarity with CAPA, NC/RCI, and regulatory compliance, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies preferred. The position requires full-time on-site presence, with travel to Frederick, MD.
