Quality Control Analyst (Chemistry)
Shift: Sunday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Gather data and document test results.
- Review test results for compliance with standards; report quality anomalies.
- Comply with pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
- Conduct testing on raw materials, in-process, product, stability, and/or research samples.
- Write and revise control test procedures and SOPs.
- Complete test records and review data.
- Calibrate or verify calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
- May devise/develop new analytical methods and techniques.
- May assist in validation of methods.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific field.
- 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to work Sunday–Thursday 8:00am–4:30pm.
Skills/Preferred:
- Enjoys fast-paced work; can prioritize, balance multiple tasks, and execute independently.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional attention to detail; can follow set instructions.
- Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, and analytical chemistry techniques.
- Teamwork and effective communication.
- Ability to develop and drive scientific and/or business improvement ideas.
