Responsibilities include overseeing quality processes, analyzing data for improvements, managing CAPAs and root cause investigations, developing SOPs, and partnering with engineering and supplier teams for product quality and process enhancements. The role also involves training coordination, supplier quality management, and acting as the quality representative on capital projects, ensuring high standards across manufacturing, testing, packaging, and distribution. Qualifications: BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred, with at least five years of manufacturing quality engineering experience. Skills include strong leadership, effective communication, proficiency in SAP ERP, data analysis, and knowledge of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, and CAPA processes. High-value specifics: Focused on animal health manufacturing, not regulated by strict GMPs, with a 10% travel requirement; primarily on-site. Collaboration across manufacturing facilities, external contract manufacturers, and senior leadership is integral. The position reports to the Associate Director of Operations and supports ongoing culture change initiatives.
